Well, honestly i first started up this blog aspiring to be a mainstream blogger that talks about my style, fashion, probably my life in brief and wanting to throw everything else in my TUMBLR ; the emotional and flawed parts of me. But then again , i am called to be different, and i want to be different, sure i can blog about my styles;ootds etc, but i really do also wanna share my life testimonies here as well, i mean, why not right? you don't have to read it if you are not interested in it, but what i have learnt from today's blessing is NEVER CEASE TO SHARE. As much as i share the fun adventures of my life, i do not want to forget that God IS PART of my adventures, and THE CENTER OF IT ALL. i know my english may not be the best, i seriously can't write for nuts, probably broken grammers here and there but yes, i want to make it clear that i would probably also start sharing more testimonies here too! (: whoo hoo, got a little excited!
Firstly, i would like to thank God for God. He has been showering me with so much love and blessings i can't help but to smile with tears of joy. What prompted me for today's post was to share about how i got reminded of child-like faith we are all suppose to have, we may lose it unknowingly along the way as we get too busy with life and sometimes even too busy with serving that we forgot why we do what we do.
So today was a usual routine of art and craft session. While i was going through the instructions with one kid, i overheard the other kids randomly talking about who is the king of the world. Out of curiosity i asked, "so who is king?" the immediate response by them was, "Jesus!" "Jesus is King", by that i was a little surprised because i never had in mind that these kids believed in God. It was so heart-warming as they shared further about how some of them goes to church every sunday and how one reads the bible daily. One of my favourite student shared a cute verse he claim he knows it well in his cutest voice and actions, "Jesus say let there be light, and there was light!" "we dont have to be scared cuz He will send many many angels to protect us" (:
Well, DAY MADE. That simple.
Sometimes things can be really simple. God just wants us to simply trust Him and let go of whatever that is holding us back, whatever thoughts we are afraid of. Just that little leapt of faith and off we go. He desires to bring us to greater heights, places we have never been, new experiences He yearns to share it with us. He just cant wait for us to jump on board on this journey with Him, and don't you worry, because He takes the led, He drives, and He never, EVER go wrong. His plans are to PROSPER you and not to harm you. (:
Lastly, i wanna thank God for this beautiful friend of mine. Abigail, if you ever read this, i want you to know that you are part of why i'm writing all these :') because gosh... you are such an inspiration when it comes to the word of God. How you let your life shine for Him, so that others can see Him through you! When you first shared to me about your plans on a christian blog, i'm so moved by your spirit of excellence. my mind was like "wow, abi. you go girl." Sure there may be fears and shyness, but yea, let's be bold for God! i am so honored to have a friend that i can share the same faith with! Honestly, you have grown so so much towards Christ-likeness ever since i get to know you personally :') though we come from different life stations, its so nice to know i have someone i can share my heart out to in terms of Godly purposes! I hope i can be of your support whenever you need it! Though not perfect, but hey friend, im here for you! Continue to shine for Jesus like no other! will be your no.1 fan in your blog! hehe (:
